Walnut Shell is Suitable for most Blasting Equipment you can use it in dry abrasive blasting cabinets, pressure blast systems and suction blast systems.
What is my compressor and Air Pressure Requirements:
Typically best to operate between 40 to 90 PSI, depending on the surface being treated and the level of cleaning required also you will need to have a good water trap on your compressor so not to clog your media.
What Nozzle Section:
Use hardened steel, tungsten carbide, or boron carbide nozzles to withstand the abrasive action of the walnut shell media.
Dust Collection System:
Effective dust extraction is recommended to maintain visibility and ensure a clean workspace, as walnut shell media can generate fine dust during blasting.
